On a beautiful site filled with old oak trees dripping with Spanish moss, rustic barns reflected in peaceful ponds, and lots of quiet, the Sisters of Our Lady of Mount Carmel of Louisiana have opened a new retreat facility called the “Carmelite Spirituality Center” on the grounds of their Provincialate. The first program offered at the Center when it opened in June was conducted by Kevin Cavanaugh, OCD, for on the Beauty of Carmel.

For more information you can write the Center for a brochure of their programs, Carmelite Spirituality Center, P.O. Box 130, Lacombe, LA 70445--0990 or visit their website at www.carmelitespirituality.org
