The Middletown community went in procession straight from the Mass of Our Lady of
Mount Carmel on July 16th to a picnic held for all area Carmelites. Leading the procession
are Carmelites Fabio Rojas, Mark Zittle, Francis Amodio, and Alfred Isaacson (front), and
Jason Hungerford and John Baptist Hung Ho (behind).

In May, Father Gerard Power, O.Carm.,
gave a talk to some 800 Grade-12 students
in Saint Patrick’s Church in Niagara Falls,
Ontario. This was followed by a “Walk
Against Violence,” as the students walked
through the tourist area of Niagara Falls
carrying placards and chanting. The walk
ended at Loretto Convent where all the
participants enjoyed a cook-out organized
by many local organizations. |
