Everyone is saying that Leo
McCarthy’s use of stories about
the members of the Province
went very well at the Chapter. I
have been collecting stories for a
bit now and have a few pages. I
think Leo is also collecting now.
Could we get something into the
Carmelite Review asking the
members of the Province for
stories they would like to share?
Of course, we would hope they
would be as close to the truth as
possible, but that is not an
absolute criterion. They can
send them to me or to Leo.
If
sent to me my e-mail is

will add them to the collection.
It
would be fun if we got stories especially
from the older men in the
Province. Stories can be about
Carmelites alive or who have
passed on. We’ll accept either
personal experiences of the correspondent
or stories he has just
heard along the way. Also, we
don’t want pages and pages of a
story, just little vignettes.
