Father Michael Flynn Nominated for Presidency

At the annual meeting of the
American Society of Clinical
Hypnosis, Father Michael
Flynn, O.Carm., Doctor Dabney Ewin,
MD, and Moseh Torrem, MD,
Father Michael Flynn Nominated for Presidency
presented a one-day workshop on the “Realm of the Spiritual in Modern
Medicine” in Saint Louis, Missouri.
During the meeting the Nominating
Committee proposed Father Michael
for the office of presidency of the
Society. The elections will be held this
summer by the membership in a
national election.
Father Michael F.
Flynn, O.Carm., Ph.D., A.B.P.H.,
A.A.P.M., A.A.M.P., S.P.A., has been a
clinical psychologist in the V.A.
Chicago Health Care System and a
Clinical Professor in the University of
Illinois Psychiatry for the past thirty
years. He has also served as an active
Roman Catholic priest for forty-four
years. He has been a member of the
American Society of Clinical Hypnosis
since 1980. He is also a past president
of the Chicago Society of Clinical
Hypnosis and served on its Executive
Board and the Board of Governors of
A.S.C.H. for five years.
Currently
Father Michael is a clinical professor
in the University of Illinois Medical
School in the Department of Psychiatry. |
