From Comic to Comedy Relief! Father Paul Henson, O.Carm., principal of Crespi High School in Encino, California emceed a comedy show fundraiser titled, “Ministry in Action”, to assist the Carmelite Sisters in their rebuilding of Mount Carmel Academy in New Orleans. Almost 350 people attended the star-studded event. The proceeds of the show, $6470.00 were sent to Sister Camille Anne Campbell, the principal of the Academy. Crespi Carmelite Football team celebrates with their trophy. For the first time in the history of the school, the team notched a second consecutive California Interscholastic Federation title.

Students from both North American provinces converged on Washington for their annual All-Students Gathering held January 13-16. The theology students at Whitefriars Hall in DC welcomed their brothers at all stages of formation: interns, novices, and pre-novitiate candidates. In addition to being a welcome break from the winter blahs, the meeting served as a valuable vehicle to spark and maintain friendships, and also to invigorate each individual’s sense of commitment.
