I attended Saint Raphael church on 70th street between Vermount and Hoover in Los Angeles. Father Matt would visit our home on west 65th place just about every weekend. I was not aware of his extensive educational backround but I clearly remember his assertive demeanor. he had this way of seeing through you. Strong but warm, is what I recall the most. Little did I know, as my life took it's journey, I often thought of the pose Father Matt displayed under all conditions. Regardless to financial circumstances, of which we were very poor, it never changed the father. He is a great man, a true man, someone whom cared from the heart. I love you father Matt.
