Home About Us Provincial Calendar Past Issues

By: Sal Lema

The movement of communications within the world is spinning so fast, that if one does not avail oneself of these astonishing features and apply them, they could be on the outside looking in, joining the ranks of those who may still use an ink quill and parchment for writing or an abacus for numbers. It is not to say that what we have accomplished is not working; but rather what can we further accomplish within this new world of communication for our readership?

In the months ahead the Carmelite Review will be taking steps to advance Carmelite Communications into still more exciting directions. Our communication will not be restricted to just hard media, as every facet of time and space will be explored and made available. Our magazine will become wedded within today’s technology. The buzz will be all about blogs, a portal, a new look, a oneness, the incorporation of all, publishing, saving the gifts from the past and presenting the future. All that is available to us will be available to you our supporters immediately, if not sooner.

We begin by opening our ears and listening to you. While you know that this magazine is your arm of interaction with Carmelites of this Province, not everyone takes advantage of it. What services can we better provide to you? Which Carmelites would you like to hear more about? What areas of Carmelite life would you like to explore? We also invite you to evaluate us. Through doing so, we can better meet your expectations of this magazine. We want you to know about what Carmelites are doing today, today.

In the months ahead, you will see some changes. Our official branding may change, our information may be enhanced, our website will evolve into a world of Carmelite directions that you might not have known about or could never have appreciated. As we begin this new venture we ask for your continued support. Pray for us, as we pray for you.
